Leo and Purapril
Leo (レオ Reo, also known as Adam[1]) and Purapril (プラプリル Purapuriru, also known as Papillo,[2] Pappilo,[2] Priscilla,[3] and Laura[1]) are the protagonists from Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair. In the instruction booklet for the game, it cites them as "bosom buddies", meaning that they knew each other from a very young age.
They were tasked with the objective of recovering the Legendary Sword, Legendary Shield and Legendary Armor after the items were stolen by the evil invaders.

- While Leo and Purapril did not appear in Wonder Boy in Monster World, they received a new art for the game's Japanese manual.
- A painting of Leo and Purapril can be seen in Rapadagna Castle in Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World.
